About KRMR
Komuniti Rakyat Malaysia Riyadh (KRMR) is an official online platform for Malaysia expatriates in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This association aims to foster unity, social well-being, and invigorate community activities for Malaysians in Riyadh. This platform is hoped to facilitate communication, strengthen cooperation and stimulate more activities and programs while also growing the community.
Our History
The Malaysian Community Riyadh (KRMR) serves as a non-governmental organization (NGO) representing Malaysians residing and working in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Established on February 22, 2013, KRMR was initially known as the Kelab Rakyat Malaysia Riyadh and was inaugurated by H.E. Dato' Syed Omar Al-Saqqaf, the Malaysian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. This initiative was born out of the necessity to unite the expanding Malaysian community, particularly those engaged in the oil and gas, education, and service sectors. KRMR is dedicated to promoting unity, social welfare, and community engagement among Malaysians in Riyadh.
